This is the most figured out META with 2 LoD Mage Necromancers as Damage Dealers, a zNec and a zBarb. Ideally this is timed with the Convention of Elements Physical rotation and a Ground Stomp Wrenching Smash from the zBarb for an insane burst with Arena Damage and Krysbin's Sentence. Together with Iron Rose and his Simulacrum Blood and Bone to deal devastating damage with Death Nova. After moving into the damage circle, he starts casting Siphon Blood into the center of the pull. Once every monster is grouped up (preferably on top of Elites) the Necromancer creates an Oculus Ring or a purple Triune Ring from Mother. The Necromancer curses the monsters to gain the Spreading Malediction damage buff. On top of that, the Necromancer has good toughness, which makes it relatively easy to survive without a zMonk. Even Elites can die instantly in very dense Pixelpulls. The Necromancer can destroy Trash that is pulled and controlled by the zBarb with just one hit with the great AoE scaling of Bloodtide Blade. Furthermore Leech Blood Flask can be used to reset your Health Potion Cooldown to proc for additional effects from Father. This build brings Frailty into the group which makes Conduit Pylon s extremely powerful. I think these observation suggest that there needs to be a significant overhaul to encourage greater class diversity in the 4 man meta. The Death Nova Necromancer build has the highest potential DPS thanks to Trag'oul's Avatar and Iron Rose. The four man meta in terms of class composition has not changed since season 12 where it is Barbarian, Monk, Necromancer and Wizard. No crusader or demon hunter has been part of the four man meta after season 4. Since season 4, two classes (barbarians and monks) are always part of the 4 man meta. As such, inclusion in the 4 man meta greatly increases that classes ability to get higher level legendary gems as well as XP/paragon levels. As we know, greater rift clears of 4 man groups are significantly higher than solo players. I wanted to summarizes and give highlights of the available information. I checked the history of the 4 man leaderboards. 4 Man Meta Historical Perspective and Request for Changes
